Brent Krysa
Vocal Techniques WorkshopOver the past six years Brent has worked as an Assistant Director for the Canadian Opera where he also adapted, designed and directed their touring productions of Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, The Magic Flute and The Barber of Seville. To date he has worked on nineteen productions and most recently directed the Welsh National Opera's revival production of Otello, for the main stage. Brent has also worked as an Assistant Director for Vancouver Opera, Calgary Opera, The Banff Centre, Opera Hamilton, The Welsh National Opera (Wales,) The Wexford Opera Festival (Ireland,)Opera Centrum Netherlands and The Rossini Festival (Italy.) Other directing credits include work for Queen of Puddings Music Theatre, The Lugo Festival (Italy,) and The Twentieth Century Song Foundation (Netherlands) and The Royal Consevatory of Music. Recent directing engagements include Mahagonny for the Royal Conservatory, Dido and Aeneas for Dalhousie Opera and Le Nozze di Figaro for Opera Hamilton.
