Malcolm Balk has been teaching the Alexander Technique for the past 17 years. Since completing his training in London, England with Patrick Macdonald in 1984 he has taught in England, Europe, Australia, the US and Canada. Malcolm has presented workshops for musicians at many leading universities including McGill (Opera workshop) U de M, UQAM, Concordia, SUNY Plattsburgh, and Queen’s University in Kingston. An avid amateur cellist and runner, Mr. Balk maintains a private practice in Montreal teaches at Plattsburgh State University and is the author of The Art of Running.
